It depends on the size, coat, and even the personality of the animal. A small dog is usually 1 hour. A large dog like a goldendoodle can take 2 to 4 hours. Most cats take 1 hour.
Do you use fresh water?
Yes. The van holds 50 gallons of frest water which will groom about 6 dogs.
How many dogs do you groom in a day?
We only groom around 5 to 6 dogs or cats a day. Each animal gets personal attention and care. The groomer starts with one dog or cat and continues until the entire job is done. Then the pet is returned to his owner. We work for quality not quantity.
Can I schedule appointments in advance?
Yes. We recommend that you do. We are usually scheduled 6 weeks out. Some clients schedule numerous appointments in advance so they are assured to get their pets groomed in a timely manner.
Can I stay in the van and watch?
Yes. Most pets will not hold still while their owners are in the van which makes it very hard to groom them, so we don't recommend that you do. But if you want to watch the process, you are welcome to stay and watch. Childen without a parent can not be in the van.
